Tapping into the goldmine of your direct sales business…. As professional in direct sales we all know the importance of brining in new business every month, but we all know that the real gold comes from your existing customers. Because they bring in repeat business and new referrals, and this is what you want.
But there’s a catch. Did you know that 68% of customers will leave due to a perceived indifference? I’ll repeat that. It’s a perceived indifference. It’s the Perception, that you simply don’t care about your customers. But you know this is not true, you love your customers. So don’t let that perception get the better of your customers.
Did you also know that for every month you don’t make contact with new customers or leads, you lose 10% of your influence? So don’t let that influence get to 100%. This is what we call the leaky Bucket effect.
We work with professionals in direct sales and teach them how to fill up their bucket with customers, then how to stop their customers from leaking out. First we have to figure out why the customers might be leaking out, but then we have to figure out how to plug the holes in the bucket. And we do that with relationship marketing techniques.
My tip to you is to do a 5 day challenge to send out a simple thank you note in the mail – yes get out that box of stamps – and actually make contact with the customers that you sign up in the next five days. It’s a very simple challenge, and you will see it can make a very big difference to your business in the next five days.
