What makes someone succeed and others don’t

This is an interesting topic, because what makes someone succeed and another one doesn’t is really intriguing. The main thing is your MINDSET needs to be so clear and not muddy.   It does sound woowoo but guess what there is so much proof that mindset makes the difference between the haves and have nots.

You see it everywhere and especially now that social media is so prevalent, scarcity shows up so much. We are also conditioned as a young child to not want anything, money is too hard to come by, money doesn’t grown on trees.  All these things before 7 set up conditioning or values that we take into adult-hood.

We have to change that thinking and reverse the conditioning so we can succeed to our GREATNESS. It is scary and puts pressure on us however we know that in the end life will be much better.

Success is very different for every person and that is fantastic, one person in network marketing  may want the top of the compensation plan but someone else just wants to earn $1,000 a week to help their family. Some days success is getting out of bed or getting the kids to school.

The dictionary shows success as an accomplishment of an aim or purpose in its simple terms. However you can take it further and say it is all about planning it out, some people use business plans, some use vision boards or goal mapping to show their success.

  • Business Plan is more about financials and more about being analytical
  • Vision Board and Goal Mapping is more about being visual with your plans

The way you are in person should be the way you are on social media, just keep being authentic and your tribe will find you. When people post in groups on social media make sure you aren’t salesly, show people that you are there to help them and be genuine in your approach.

What causes you to get nowhere on social media is:

  • Dumping and Running (posting and leaving the group)
  • Posting your link everywhere (it is spam)
  • Commenting with nothing of value to the original post

Talking about your mindset helps with these things as you won’t be doubting yourself as much (we aren’t perfect). There are so many resources out there to help with mindset it really depends on what resonates with you.

Things that we have used in the past and some we will continue to use in the future are:

  • Reiki – a technique for reducing stress
  • EFT – Emotion Freedom Technique (meridian system tapping into them)
  • Counselling – so many choices
  • Facebook Groups – others that are going through this
  • Mentors/Coaches – they have experience in this area

Warren Buffet was a successful entrepreneur before his 50th birth however, Buffett made $62.7 billion of his $63.3 billion net worth after he turned 50. This is to show everyone it doesn’t matter where you are in your journey just so long as you are failing forward.

Everyday is a learning curve and failing forward is about being active and having action in your life. It doesn’t mean that you have failed at all, learn a new skill and put that into action straight away. When we do a course or workshop and then put it into action straight way.

I’m homeschooling my son, I’m learning so much more about the environment, about taking care of a 10 year old and he’s needs when he’s being homeschooled. It’s a very different challenge. How do I measure what is successful and and what isn’t? it’s It breaks my heart that he’s not at school, of course, because he’s not around his friends and not around that learning environment. But at the end of the day, he’s just blossomed so much in this last year. We are not doing the curriculum, the standard curriculum, we are doing everything in an unschooling way that is beneficial to him.

Every day is a brand new day and he actually communicates with me and gets out of bed. I took him to the park the other day, and he just was so cranky, didn’t want to do anything, just want to sit and have a mood. I just ignored him, went over to the exercise equipment, then went and set on the swings. He finally come over and sat on the swings with me and then I said let’s go around the wetland and see what is around.

I had to threaten with the technical PlayStation and the iPad off him we went for a walk around, he got to pet and communicate with three different fur babies. We met lovely a lady on the walk and saw about six to seven different birds. He was telling me about the wetlands being man-made and communicating to me about other things too.

As you can see success is something different to everyone. The success I’ve seen in him is incredible we’re breaking down those barriers.

You know the saying “You can’t teach an old dog a new trick”, Well, that is rubbish, it’s proven that someone in the 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s can learn new things. I just watched TV with a lady who’s 102 and she’s just flying a plane, this proves you can teach someone something new every single day. The world is such a blessing so we need to be thankful for everything every single day.
